When it comes to feeding a plant, it is important to provide the right nutrients and substances to help your cannabis grow at its fullest potential. When growing cannabis indoors, providing a nutrient-rich substrate is essential. In this recipe, we are using coconut Rice as our base and incorporating curry into it to give it an interesting flavor and added nutrients.
Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup chicken broth or vegetable broth
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cumin powder
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 avocado, diced
For the Curry:
1 1/2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
2 large cans of coconut milk (14 oz each)
2 teaspoons ground cumin seed
Instructions:
1. Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer. Add the rice to a small pot with the water and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Fluff with a fork and set aside. While the rice cooks, heat the oil in a large soup pot over medium heat until hot. Add the chickpeas and garlic and cook for 1 minute before adding the chicken broth. Simmer for 10 more minutes or until all ingredients are well heated through. Remove from heat and allow cool slightly before combining with the cooked rice. Stir in avocado just before serving. For the curry, mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth before serving. Enjoy!
